~Sir Winston Churchill

From the antique market. I didn't realize until I came home that almost every picture I took was predominantly brown.

~Claude Monet

The earth laughs in flowers

If you've never been thrilled to the very edges of your soul by a flower in spring bloom, maybe your soul has never been in bloom.
~Audra Foveo

Leans to the sun's kiss glorying,
And quivers in the sunny breeze.
~ Julian Grenfell

Tracks in the mud

Racoons, Canada geese and maybe the swan.

Walking at the river at sunrise

What is the good of your stars and trees, your sunrise and wind, if they do not enter into our daily lives?
~ E.M. Forster

With camera in hand (of course), I slipped out early morning for a walk by the river before the rains came and the busy day began.
It's a luxury to start the day on that path.
